Ricky Allen sworn in to Pryor Creek hotel-motel board; board approves Sept. 30, 2024 minutes

Ricky Allen took the oath of office on Thursday after the Hotel-Motel Tax Allocation Board convened. Allen was sworn in for Seat 2 with a term expiring April 30, 2025.
In the oath, Allen recited: "I, Ricky Allen, do solemnly swear or affirm that I will support, obey, and defend the Constitution of the United States and the constitution of the state of Oklahoma and the charter of the city of Pryor Creek... I will faithfully discharge my duties as hotel motel board seat 2 to the best of my abilities." The oath was administered during the meeting by a board member or official present on the dais.
Earlier in the meeting the board voted to approve the minutes of the Sept. 30, 2024 meeting. The motion to approve the minutes was made and seconded; a roll call produced affirmative votes from members present, including Majors, Williams, Dickinson, Hawkins and Allen.
The board then moved on to grant and policy items later on the agenda.
