Healthy Harvest said it had previously received $1,000 from Wright County and asked the board to consider aligning the county contribution with neighboring counties by funding at 10 cents per capita — the presenters said that would be approximately $12.80 for Wright County this year. The board indicated it would consider the request during the county budget process.
Healthy Harvest representatives also described a pending regional planning grant (11-county community access plan) that, if funded, would begin with a planning year for data collection and gap analysis and could lead to a larger implementation grant later. The board did not take a funding vote at this meeting and deferred action to budget time.
