Planning commission code-review work continues; inspector reports one active building permit passed footing inspection

Staff gave a brief update on building permits and the planning commission during the Feb. 4 Interlaken Town Council meeting.
The building-permit report listed one active permit for Lot 28312 Interlaken Drive (Park residence alteration). The presenter said the foundation and footings were completed and had passed inspection; there were no other building-permit updates that month.
On planning and land-use code revision work, the planning commissioner present (Matt) reported continued work on code updates and said there was an intention to coordinate meetings with staff, including Derek, to review proposed language. Staff said they were compiling a list of prior planning commission discussions and suggested presenting consolidated proposed code edits to the commission for review before a hearing. Councilors discussed the benefit of giving the planning commission developed text for review to streamline public hearings.
