Ryan Cowley was nominated by a commissioner and, after a second, was confirmed by virtue of receiving no additional nominations. Cowley will continue as chair for the coming term. Jason Felt was nominated to remain vice chair, seconded, and likewise confirmed when no other nominations were offered.
Both officers were confirmed without recorded opposition and will be listed on the city's upcoming City Council agenda materials related to commission appointments. The meeting record indicates the nominations were uncontested; there was light collegial conversation following the confirmations but no substantive debate about leadership.
The commission moved on to other business after confirming the two officers.
