Keller Williams commercial director introduced as prospective Poulsbo planning commissioner

Joey Solar, director of commercial real estate for Keller Williams Greater 360 and the company's Washington government-sector representative, introduced herself to the City of Poulsbo Planning Commission and described her interest in serving on the commission.

Solar said she was drawn to the role by a desire to “preserve the character of our city and neighborhoods while fostering economic vitality.” She described professional experience in land use, zoning and economic development, and said her background spans public and private-sector work including work with county commissioners in Pierce and Kitsap counties.

Commissioners said they had met with Solar and that they had forwarded her application to the mayor; the next step is a formal appointment by the Poulsbo City Council, scheduled for Feb. 5, the commission was told.
