Loa, who identified his address as 248 Charles Barber Road, told the commission he and neighbors had asked Planning and Zoning to open the easement. He said the matter was discussed at the Nov. 19 commission meeting and then tabled. Loa said he and other residents prefer the easement be opened and that an agreement the adjacent property’s lawyer provided carried “overwhelming restrictions” that he could not accept.
Quote: “I’m here on behalf of myself and other individuals that live in my area requesting that the easement be open as discussed in the last meeting before it was tabled,” Eddie Loa told the commission.
Loa asked the commission to clarify next steps so residents can proceed. No formal action on the easement occurred during the Jan. 21 meeting; Loa’s comment was entered in the public record and the commission did not take immediate action on the request.
