Commissioners ask county attorney for privileged memo on Game Creek road; no decision made

Senior Deputy County Attorney Keith Gingree told the board his office had not worked on the project for about a year and proposed sending a privileged memo that "lay[s] out a little bit of the background and lay[s] out the options that are currently on the table from the work that he has done and his office has done." Gingree said the memo would provide the history and possible options so the board could determine whether to direct staff to proceed with particular actions and whether to schedule a workshop or place the matter on a future agenda.

Commissioner Carlman (a newly seated commissioner, as noted in the meeting) and other commissioners expressed support for starting with Gingree's memo so the new board members could be brought up to speed. Commissioner Gardner confirmed he would communicate the plan to his neighbors.
