Teton County commissioners approve $2.2 million in vouchers, postpone planning permit to Jan. 28

The Teton County Board of Commissioners adopted the meeting agenda and unanimously approved two county voucher runs totaling $2,205,823.15 during their meeting on Jan. 21, 2025. The board also voted to postpone one planning permit, DEV2024-003, to the Jan. 28, 2025 regular meeting.

The board adopted the day's agenda without change after a motion to adopt was moved and seconded. Later, the board approved two voucher runs: "I move to approve the January 20, 2025 county voucher run in the amount of $803,055.63 and a second county voucher run in the amount of $1,402,767.52," a speaker stated. The motion was seconded, and the chair called for the ayes; the board approved the vouchers. No roll-call tally by name was recorded in the meeting text beyond the motion and the chair's call for ayes.

On a separate vote the board moved to postpone planning permit DEV2024-003. The postponement was made "to the January 28, 2025 regular meeting" by motion and second, and the chair called the ayes; the motion passed unanimously.

The meeting record indicates Commissioner Macker was absent and that Commissioner Gardner joined the meeting online. The board reviewed upcoming meeting and workshop dates in public calendar announcements, including a public workshop on an amendment labeled 2023-0002 (the "Phibbs" amendment) scheduled for 10 a.m. next Monday, a workshop on modernizing the Teton County Scenic Preserve Trust planned for Feb. 3, and various voucher and regular meeting dates in February. The county also noted offices will be closed Monday, Feb. 17, and that voucher/regular meetings will move accordingly.
