The assessor's office representative said there are currently no unfilled commercial appraiser positions in the office and described the county's career progression framework (1 → 2 → 3) tied to certification and years of experience.
A motion to approve the promotion passed unanimously.
The assessor's office said it will outline what a fully staffed assessor's office would look like as the county prepares for the next budget cycle; the representative said future budget presentations will show personnel needs to reach that level of service.
