Council members asked procedural questions about Deckard’s reporting and asked staff to provide a list of properties to which Deckard had sent letters. City staff said a portal exists showing registration information and agreed to provide the requested list for transparency.
Council approved the payment plan by voice vote. Mayor indicated the city’s marshal and the collection process have increased compliance and that staff will continue to work payment plans to recover overdue amounts. Staff noted other delinquent accounts have been recovered and some owners have paid in full when contacted.
