The clerk conducted the roll call. Council Member Bankston was announced as expected to join the executive session to participate in interviews. The meeting record shows council had interviewed half of the finalists at a prior meeting on Monday and planned to interview the remainder during the closed portion of this session.
After the executive session, council reconvened in public, with no additional business held, and voted unanimously to adjourn Special Meeting No. 2. The council indicated it expects to vote on an appointment to fill the District 7 seat in early 2025. No appointment or other formal action was recorded during this meeting.
