Under the approved plan the district will pay $1,000 to each eligible full-time, benefited employee who submits a resignation or retirement notice by Feb. 28, 2025 (March 1 falls on a weekend this year) and who completes their final contract day. The program is capped at $40,000 in fiscal impact for the current budget cycle; payments will be made on the employee’s final paycheck after the contract year ends.
