Planning commission elects new vice chair; approves minutes and adjourns

The Riverdale City Planning Commission unanimously elected Celeste as its new vice chair and approved meeting minutes from Dec. 10, 2024, before adjourning Tuesday.
Commissioners nominated Celeste and closed nominations before a voice vote. Staff then polled commissioners by name; Commissioner Colson, Mister Nye, Mister Anderson, Mister Herman, Commissioner Spires and Mister Nolan each responded yes, and the motion carried unanimously.
Earlier in the meeting the commission moved to approve the Dec. 10, 2024 work session and regular meeting minutes; the motion was seconded and commissioners answered in the affirmative. No substantive corrections were entered into the record.
At the close of the meeting commissioners and staff made brief remarks thanking outgoing members for their service. A motion to adjourn carried on a unanimous voice vote.
All three procedural items—the minutes approval, the vice-chair election and the adjournment—were routine votes taken on the consent and concluding portions of the agenda.
