The Angola City Planning Commission conducted officer elections at the Jan. 13 meeting and confirmed leadership for 2025.
Commissioners nominated and elected Susan Ralston as president by voice vote. The commission also nominated a vice president (recorded in the minutes as “Jeff Ram”) and elected that nominee by voice vote. The commission recorded that, because of an ex-officio role, the secretary position was automatically filled by a sitting official (that person indicated acceptance during the meeting). All three nominations were approved by voice vote; the minutes do not show individual roll-call tallies.
The commission also noted that Jeff Peters, though absent from the meeting, has served as liaison to the Steuben County Planning Commission and has offered to continue in that role. Austin Boudreaux was confirmed as a continuing liaison as well.
The chair asked staff to circulate any required paperwork after the meeting to formalize assignments.
