Easley council appoints Jennifer Gilstrap as assistant judge for two-year term

A motion to approve Gilstrap’s appointment passed without recorded opposition; council members raised hands in a unanimous vote. Judge Snow addressed the council before the vote, saying Gilstrap is ‘‘well qualified’’ and meets the position’s requirements.
