Transit staff told the commission Jan. 9 they will contract with Via — the company that operates Milwaukee on‑demand service — to analyze whether an on‑demand model could work for low‑ridership weekend service in Waukesha. The study will examine cost and service tradeoffs and is a small purchase, staff said.
