Purchasing agent Stephanie Hunt told the court an evaluation committee reviewed qualifications submitted under RFQ 2025-Q02, scored proposals independently and identified HNTB as the highest-scoring firm. "It was apparent that HNTB was the highest scoring, and the evaluation committee felt comfortable just moving board," Hunt said.
Commissioners Inglesby and another commissioner who sat on the selection committee thanked competing firms and encouraged unsuccessful proposers to request exit interviews for feedback on their proposals. The court approved the award on a roll-call vote with all members voting yes.
Motion and outcome: The court moved and seconded the award and authorized the criminal district attorney's civil division to negotiate the contract; the motion passed unanimously.
