The Jonesboro Metropolitan Area Planning Commission on Jan. 14 denied a request from Glenwood Limited Partnership for a conditional use permit to allow a storage facility on 6.18 acres west of 3319 Harrisburg Road.
Applicant Barrett Davidson of Davidson Engineering told the commission the project had previously been approved on Feb. 27, 2024, but the developer resubmitted after the property’s legal description changed when a planned extension of Elmhurst Drive (now being called Naughty Pine Lane) shifted the parcel. “It’s about 60 40 split,” Davidson said when describing the updated mix of climate‑controlled and non‑climate‑controlled units. He said the design changes also reduced the overall square footage and shortened one interior building by 40 feet to improve turning radii for fire access.
