The Houston Planning Commission approved a broad set of consent and reply items and voted on several replats, variances and special exceptions during its Jan. 9, 2025 meeting at City Hall Annex. The commission established a quorum of 17 commissioners and moved through several grouped items that staff presented as recommended.
Staff said Sections A and B (consent and reply) covered items 1 through 91; commissioners approved those items as a group. The chair noted two items had been withdrawn and would not be considered: Item 77 (Melbourne Duplex) and Item 97 (Baron Cypress Bend).
Several items taken out of order were also decided: the commission considered Item 39 (an extension request for Wynn Highland Place/Bridal Platt) and Item 79 (Park Properties). On Item 39 staff recommended…
