During the Jan. 7 Bullhead City Council meeting, several residents used the public-comment period to announce community events and local media developments.

Randy Mack of Jack FM 103.9 told the council and audience that the station now has a new 3,000-watt signal in Bullhead City. “Bullhead City has a brand new 3000 watt radio signal,” Mack said, adding the station’s coverage extends from Golden Valley down to Havasu and up to about 40 miles west of Needles.

Rose Jacobs, speaking for the nonprofit Colorado River Concert Series, invited residents to the group’s 50th “golden anniversary season.” She promoted a Feb. 4 performance by Ernie Haas and Signature Sound at the Mohave High School auditorium and said tickets are $35. “This evening, I'm here to invite our city residents and those that live in the tri state area to our 50th golden anniversary season of the Colorado River concert series,” Jacobs said.

Eva Genovese (who introduced herself as Eva Corbett and then as Eva Genovese) asked the public to attend a Mohave High School alumni concert featuring about 14 former students and the vocalist Caden Fitzgerald. “It's this Friday ... Friday, January 10th, 2025 at the Mohave High School,” Genovese said, adding doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the performance starts at 7 p.m.

These announcements were delivered during the council’s public-comment period and did not require council action. No other formal agenda items were raised in those comments.
