- QComp report: The board accepted the district's QComp annual report after a presentation (see separate article). Motion made and approved by voice vote.
- Canvass of special election: The board canvassed special-election returns and announced 1,874 yes votes and 2,035 no votes; the ballot question failed for lack of majority. The board approved a resolution to canvass and declare results.
- Lease renewal (SCRED/club space): The board approved renewal of the lease for the space used by SCRED (the local shared program) on the same terms, noting no increase in rent for the coming period. Motion passed by voice vote.
- School calendar revision: The board approved a revision to the 2025-26 calendar to move middle-school conference dates to Feb. 26 and March 3 so conferences fall immediately before spring break.
- TDEC MOU (teacher evaluation): The board accepted a new memorandum of understanding updating the district's teacher-evaluation agreement (TDEC) and aligning rubrics to new state language; motion passed.
- Monthly work sessions: The board approved holding a regular work session at 8 a.m. on the Tuesday in the week prior to the Thursday board meeting, beginning with the June meeting cycle.
All motions were moved and seconded as recorded in the meeting transcript and were approved by voice vote or roll call where noted. No action was taken that immediately changed staffing contracts or created new expenditures beyond accepted donations and program budget acceptances; implementation steps for QComp and other administratively driven items were noted for future work.
