Commission approves minutes, cash and invoice registers and disbursement listings; CEOAB contract to be finalized

Daggett County commissioners voted to approve routine financial items and asked staff to finalize a previously tabled grant contract for placement on next week’s agenda.
The commission approved the Jan. 28 meeting minutes, acknowledged receipt of the cash summary as of Jan. 31, and approved what the board agreed to call the accounts receivable report (the item previously labeled the aging report). The board also approved the open invoice register dated Jan. 2025 in the amount of $241,747.96 and accepted the county disbursement listing from Zion’s checking dated Jan. 27–30, 2025, in the amount of $90,045.24. Commissioners voiced “Aye” on each motion and the chair declared the motions carried.
Separately, staff said a contract tied to the CEOAB grant — previously tabled — now contains needed updates and can be placed on the agenda for approval and ratification. County staff said they would put the updated contract and a memorandum of understanding (MOU) on next week’s agenda so the commission can ratify it after final review.
Votes were carried by voice; no roll-call tallies were read into the record at the Feb. 4 meeting.
