Queen Creek USD construction update: Mountain Trail Academy on track; additions progressing at Eastmark and Chrisman

The administration building was described as about 75% framed with roof trusses being placed; staff said the project is moving along well and on schedule.
District staff also described additions at Eastmark High School: the performing-arts wing walls are complete and teams are preparing to set roof trusses; a 23-classroom addition and gymnasium are in progress, with the gym “a little over 50% complete” on wall construction. Staff said the classroom addition at Eastmark follows the school’s master plan and will allow the district to add planned space with the exception of a performing-arts center still to be finished later.
At Chrisman High School, the district reported the classroom addition CMU wall construction is complete, second-floor decking has started and underground utility tie-ins and concrete floor finishes are in place.
District staff framed the updates as part of “effective operations and systems,” noting most projects are funded by outside entities (including the state schools facilities division where cited) and emphasizing the importance of completing projects within budget.
