"The total number of votes cast for the West Bend Joint School District number 1 school referendum was 32,127, of which yes votes received 18,470 and no votes received 13,657," Aragott said in her report.
Why it matters: The canvass is the board’s formal accounting of the district‑level referendum vote totals and is part of the official election record.
Aragott told the board the canvass occurred on Nov. 11. The board did not take further action on the canvass at the Dec. 2 meeting; Aragott concluded the report by saying, "This concludes my report."
