Loudon City Council on Jan. 27 voted to approve a package of routine administrative items, including an application for historic preservation funding, the declaration of surplus fleet equipment, a grant application to the Federal Emergency Management Agency and adoption of the city's Section 125 cafeteria plan for employees.
Mayor Jeff Harris opened the meeting and reminded attendees that “Tennessee law gives every Tennessee the right to attend city council meetings and see how their government operates.” After roll call, council members considered and approved a set of motions by voice vote.
