Michelle Vincent Hoffer, the association’s historian, said the program will include nearly 50 high‑school students in Ballet Folklorico, mariachi, band and ROTC, and American Legion Post 23 would read soldiers’ names and ring a bell. “We expect, almost 50 high school students in the Ballet Folklorico, in the Mariachi, in the band, in ROTC will all be participating,” Vincent Hoffer said.
Council members asked about logistics and offered support; council later approved an in‑kind contribution to the Buffalo Soldiers Legacy Association by motion. The motion passed on a voice vote.
