Road use agreement (moved from consent): The court later moved the removed item to unfinished business as item 5.3. A motion to approve the road use agreement for Leaning Juniper Wind Power II, LLC (recorded on the agenda as a road use agreement) was moved, seconded and approved by voice vote.
Resolution R2024-14 (salary schedule): The court considered resolution R2024-14 to amend the 2025 salary schedule to add a transportation coordinator position. A drafting error on the agenda labeled the position “dispatcher”; the court confirmed the resolution itself referenced the transportation coordinator and the discrepancy would be corrected. The court moved, seconded and approved the resolution by voice vote.
STIP plan: The court approved the county’s 2025–2027 STIP plan projects as recommended by the county advisory committee and instructed staff to submit the application due in January.
Vote tallies and record: The minutes record voice votes of “Aye” from each commissioner for the motions described; no roll-call recorded specific commissioner names for each vote in the transcript. Where votes were taken the court announced “Motion carries.”
The court recorded that the road use agreement item should be considered as regular business in the future rather than as a routine consent item.
