Staff reviewed upcoming dates: a council work session Jan. 15 (6–8 p.m.) with an executive session before it, the citizen advisory committee meeting Jan. 22 (6–8 p.m.), planning commission and public hearings Jan. 27, a public works law training session Jan. 30, an elected official workshop Feb. 5, the next regular council meeting Feb. 12, and a council retreat scheduled for Saturday, March 1.
Staff said the city is accepting applications for a vacant council seat, a budget‑committee vacancy, a business‑owner seat on the economic development committee and a planning commission vacancy following a recent resignation. Staff directed interested residents to the city application process.
Staff also said the traffic control plan and phased contractor work schedules are posted on the city website for residents to review for access and egress during the upcoming street work.
