Stephanie McCord was recognized for providing reading interventions and supporting resources across the building; she was nominated by Leah Johnson.
Separately, union and staff representatives praised building teams — notably at Hillcrest — for how staff managed student safety and dismissal during the recent tsunami warning. The board thanked staff and the distinguished teams for their response.
