East Grand Forks board approves pay equity report, accepts donations and OKs K–12 payments

The board voted to approve the 2025 pay equity report, a state-required report that the superintendent said the district will submit through the business office. "We have to do that in this reporting so it's a state report that we put in," the superintendent said. The board approved the report by voice vote; minutes record the motion as carried.
Board members accepted several donations listed in the board book. The donations on the record included $11,493.14 from East Grand Forks Arts and Crafts to senior high music (risers and a light board), $50 from Mary Hendrickson to Southpointe for student needs, and $9,411.99 from East Grand Forks boosters for senior high and CMS music items (including a French horn and a tuba). The superintendent read a total donation figure reported at the meeting: $220,955.13. The board approved acceptance of the donations by voice vote.
The board also approved payment of K–12 bills numbered 01/8662 through 01/8762 in the amount of $179,022.97.
Earlier in the meeting the board approved the meeting agenda and later approved the consent agenda. The meeting closed after routine board-member comments and an adjournment motion that carried by voice vote.
Board members commented during the meeting but did not alter the motions. Board member Amanda (last name not specified) and others discussed scheduling and district outreach events; the superintendent noted upcoming job fairs at UND and Mayville as recruitment opportunities. No formal motions on those events were recorded.
