Abington Heights board approves monthly finances, personnel actions and multiple service agreements in unanimous votes

The Abington Heights School District Board approved a series of routine and program actions during the meeting, including the treasurer’s report, personnel matters, multiple intergovernmental agreements for special education and career education, an asbestos abatement contract at the middle school and the addition of a girls varsity wrestling program. Contracts and programs: Directors approved a bid from Dayton Projects Inc. for asbestos abatement at the middle school (AHMS) and approved adding a girls varsity wrestling program at Abington Heights High School. Both motions passed by recorded vote, 9–0.
