An ordinance to close a 20-foot utility easement at property identified as 8855 East 91st Street was presented to the Public Works Committee to allow Calvary Bible Church to expand its building footprint.
A staff presenter explained the easement “does not have a line in it, right now,” and that the church’s expansion requires removing the easement from the lot line. The presenter said utility authority staff reviewed the request and raised no objections, and staff recommended approval to allow the church expansion.
Committee members raised no substantive questions. Staff said the closure will be forwarded for formal approval.
