Commissioner Sandra Hollingsworth was nominated and elected chair of the board; Hollingsworth said she was “honored to be the chair this year.” The board also elected Commissioner Susan Brooman as chair pro tem and approved a long list of staff and committee appointments, including the county manager as the board’s proxy for several intergovernmental steering committees.
The appointments consolidate who will represent Gilpin County on state and regional bodies.
