The San Francisco Fire Commission on Jan. 22 elected Vice President Marcy Frasier as its new president and Commissioner Paula Collins as vice president.
Commission President Armee Morgan nominated Frasier and she accepted. Commissioner Darren Nicasio seconded the nomination. Commissioners voted; the motion passed and Frasier will assume the commission presidency. Commissioners then nominated and unanimously elected Paula Collins as vice president; Collins accepted.
Several commissioners offered brief thanks and recognition to outgoing President Morgan for his service. The commission adjourned after the election.
The nominations and votes were recorded on the public record at the Jan. 22 meeting; no contested ballots were reported.
