County approves compromise with Highland Crossing developer; accepts subdivision roads for maintenance

County staff member Miss Homeveld told the court the costs were vetted by Public Works and that the compromise agreement outlines the developer payment to cover remaining items. After the compromise was approved, the court accepted the roads within Highland Crossing North so county crews or contractors may complete the remaining work and place the roads into the county maintenance program.
Votes: The court approved the compromise agreement (motion, second; passed 5-0) and approved acceptance of Highland Crossing North roads for county maintenance (motion, second; passed 5-0).
Next steps: Public Works will supervise completion of punch-list items using the developer payment and then transition accepted roads into the county maintenance schedule.
