The Historic Preservation Commission elected its officers for 2025 at the Feb. 19 meeting, reelecting Commissioner Matsuda as president and Commissioner Nagas Warren as vice president.
Commissioner Vergara nominated Matsuda and Nagas Warren; the nomination was seconded and approved on a roll call vote that recorded unanimous support (7–0) from Commissioners Barone, Bridal, Vergara, Wright, Foley, Niguez Warren and President Matsuda.
Commission rules call for election of officers at the first regular meeting after Jan. 1. The commission noted that the matter had been continued twice before the Feb. 19 vote.
