Resilience Authority will run voucher program for gas-powered leaf blower ban; City and authority to partner on implementation

Veil said the authority lacks in‑house staff capacity for direct implementation and will contract with a third party; the Resilience Authority will oversee procurement and project management.
Veil said the program is a City–Resilience Authority partnership and that staff were aiming to have a voucher program ready for rollout in March. Details on voucher amounts, eligibility rules and procurement of the implementing contractor were not provided in the committee meeting; staff said they would return with additional program details as procurement proceeds.
