BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C. — The Berkeley County Board of Education on Tuesday approved contracts for architectural and roof-design work, accepted several committee recommendations on school plans and budgets, approved out-of-state travel and appointed committees to recommend names for two new schools.
The board voted during its Jan. 21 meeting to award RFQ 7132425 for architecture and engineering services for building additions and renovations to Moseley Architects of South Carolina for Berkeley High School and to F. W. Architects Incorporated for Goose Creek High School. The board also approved RFQ 7152425 for roof design services at Sangaree Elementary School to WM Building Envelope Consultants, LLC.
