Guadalupe council certifies election results, adopts fee updates and approvals in series of votes

The Guadalupe City Council on Dec. 10 adopted multiple resolutions that formalize election results, update city fees and approve land-use and interagency agreements tied to pending development.

The council accepted the certified results of the Nov. 5, 2024 general municipal election, adopted an updated master fee schedule that raises many user fees to reflect cost changes, approved a tentative parcel map to subdivide 4513 11th Street into two lots, and approved railroad- and overpass-related agreements needed for the Pasadero development. Council also authorized staff to submit a state historic rehabilitation tax credit application for the Well Theatre.

Why it matters: The bundle of votes sets administrative and financial policy (fee schedule), clears a local land division through the city’s subdivision process, and advances a multiagency transportation and development package that requires coordination with railroads and state agencies. The historic-tax-credit application will, if awarded, bring state matching funds for the Well Theatre rehabilitation.
