Commission appoints members to Riley County Law Board; names county representatives and citizen member

Commissioners discussed applicants’ backgrounds during the meeting, noting military and law-enforcement experience among several candidates and that citizen representation from the north county was a consideration. The commission’s motion to appoint McKinley, Fokie and Olds passed on a voice vote.
