- Resolution 2025‑1: Acceptance of temporary emergency services access easement from Veil Steel and Diana J. Steel: Approved. Public Works Director Dustin Johnson described the easement as a 0.028‑acre temporary dedication intended to preserve a conforming street network until adjacent development occurs. - IFB‑25‑004: Seventeenth Street sidewalk infill (Thirteenth Ave. to Fifteenth Ave.): Awarded to La Revere (La Riviera) Inc. for $325,975.80. The project is funded largely by a Transportation Alternatives Program (TAP) grant; the city share is approximately 7.34% (about $23,926.62). Motion moved by Councilor Schroeder; motion carried.
- IFB‑25‑005: Community Center HVAC replacement: Awarded to Mangum (Mangan) Construction LLC for $212,000. Staff said the project will be funded from the general fund property improvements/deferred maintenance budget; the contract passed on council motion.
- Advisory board appointments: Council approved reappointment of Lorinda Riggs to the Historic Preservation Commission (three‑year term), appointment of Elizabeth (transcript spelling inconsistent) to the Cemetery and Urban Forestry Commission (three‑year term), and appointment of Jill Carlson Ballmer to the Parks and Recreation Commission (three‑year term). The council thanked appointees and approved the motions.
Other routine items approved included the consent agenda and several ordinance readings recorded elsewhere in the meeting minutes.
