At the Dec. 17 Moreno Valley City Council meeting the council took the following formal actions (votes recorded when provided):
- Continued selection of mayor pro tem (Item K-1) to the Jan. 7, 2025 meeting. Vote: unanimous among members present.
- Tabled Item K-3 (city manager employment agreement item). Vote: unanimous among members present.
- Approved the order of the agenda (with continuances noted). Vote: unanimous among members present.
- Approved the joint consent calendar, which included budget and administrative items. Vote: unanimous among members present.
- Adopted the annual HUD action plan objectives and public engagement schedule for Program Year 2025-26 (Item J-1). Vote: unanimous among members present.
- Approved Development Agreement PEN 20-480 for a freeway-oriented digital sign and related CEQA finding (Item J-2). Vote: unanimous (4-0; mayor pro tem absent).
- Adopted a policy authorizing city-logo apparel for council-appointed boards, commissions and committees (Item K-2). Vote: unanimous among members present.
