Resident urges board to boost rural public transportation funding in Moore area

She said private contractors provide service but that funding levels are insufficient and noted she has trained drivers for many years.
County staff did not respond during the public comment period, and no board action was recorded in direct response to the request during the meeting. The board closed public comment after the single speaker and proceeded with the agenda.
The board read its public-comment rules at the start of the period, noting a three-minute limit per speaker and a 15-minute total period unless extended by the board.
