Items listed on the consent calendar included a 2025 contractual services agreement with Flanagan Ventures doing business as Wiley E. Waters; the 2025–2030 Hayden Louli park use agreement; a 2025 contract with Peak Health and Wellness Center for contractual services; a 2025 contract with K Tigers Taekwondo for contractual services; a deferred approval agreement for Justin and Heather Arts; and approval of bills for payment.
Councilor Mayer asked a question about a line item in the finance report: a $610 charge described as a CSAC music license. City staff explained the fee covers yearly licensing for copyrighted music used at city public events, and said the license covers uses such as Hayden Days and other park events.
A motion to approve the consent calendar was made and seconded; the council then approved the motion by roll call: Council member Schaeffer (yes), Council member White (yes), Council President Roeder (yes) and Council member DuPreece (yes). The clerk confirmed a quorum at the start of the meeting and no council member recorded a dissenting vote on the consent calendar.
The city will proceed under the contracts and agreements authorized in the consent calendar without further action recorded at the Jan. 28 meeting.
