The Caroline County Board of License Commissioners approved a series of temporary and multi-event alcohol licenses and a transfer of an off-premises seven-day beer, wine and liquor license at its Jan. 22 meeting.
The board granted multi-event licenses or temporary event permissions to the Greensboro Volunteer Fire Company (30 events for 2025), Chesapeake Culinary Center (up to 10 events), Ridgely Volunteer Fire Company (up to 10 events), Goldsboro Volunteer Fire Company (20 events), Friends of the Caroline County Public Library (one trivia event March 1, 2025, 6–10 p.m.) and the Caroline-Dorchester 4-H Fair Board Sportsman’s Bash (Feb. 8, 2025). Staff said applications were complete, site plans matched prior filings, and required alcohol awareness (TIP) certificates were on file or awaited in one case.
