Tiburon council keeps most committee rosters intact, sunsets Martha property panel

The Tiburon Town Council reviewed its annual committee and task-force appointments on Jan. 15 and voted to eliminate the ad hoc Martha property applications committee, saying the issue that prompted the panel appears to be resolved.
Lee (staff) presented the annual list of committee appointments and noted two task forces that were not actively meeting. After brief discussion, Councilmember Nick Farr moved to keep assignments the same except to eliminate the Martha property applications committee; the motion was seconded and approved in roll-call vote.
Councilmembers agreed to delay any further changes, including sunsetting the court usage task force and confirming membership for several standing committees, until Councilmember Fredericks — absent from the meeting — can be consulted. Several councilmembers also discussed whether the Parks and Recreation Master Plan Committee should remain active; staff suggested keeping that committee for now in case implementation requires continued commission and council coordination.
The council asked staff to follow up with Councilmember Fredericks about outstanding task forces and to return with any recommended updates after that check-in.
