Council committee approves $25 million amendment for Third Ward TID 56 to fund streets, plazas and protected bikeways

The committee approved an amendment to Tax Increment District 56 (Erie‑Jefferson) that authorizes roughly $25 million in public infrastructure projects for Milwaukee’s Historic Third Ward, including protected bikeways, several street reconstructions, and upgrades to Catalano Square and Erie Street Plaza.
