The Douglas County Board of County Commissioners on Jan. 14 voted to continue consideration of the Tallinn Gulch Metropolitan District second amendment to its service plan to March 25, 2025, at 2:30 p.m.
The item, listed as project file SV2024-003, was presented by DJ Beckwith, principal planner with the Department of Community Development, who said the applicant requested the continuance. A motion to continue the matter was made and seconded; the board voted “aye,” and the motion carried 3-0.
The continuance means staff and the applicant will have additional time to address outstanding materials or referral comments before the public hearing resumes. No substantive discussion on the merits of the proposed service-plan amendment occurred at the Jan. 14 meeting, and no final action on the amendment was taken.
Staff indicated the applicant requested the specific March 25 hearing time. The board did not set any additional conditions as part of the continuance.
