Owners of multiple parcels formed from the earlier Trent subdivision presented a lot-line alteration on Jan. 7 that would recombine several parcels along Burger Road and adjoining properties. The Planning Board accepted the application and scheduled a public hearing for Feb. 3.
Planner presentation: Board staff explained that three of the four parcels originated in the earlier Trent subdivision and the proposed lot-line alteration consolidates lots to reconfigure parcel boundaries without creating new lots. Staff said that current setbacks for residences and structures did not appear to require variances and that no county-level review was required since this is a lot-line adjustment rather than a new subdivision.
Board action: The board accepted the application and supporting documents as adequate for further review, classified the action as unlisted for environmental review and scheduled the public hearing for Feb. 3. The application will be referred to the CAB for review; staff said that Dutchess County review was not needed for this minor lot-line change.
Next steps: The board will examine the precise boundary adjustments at the Feb. 3 hearing and requested clarification on any small encroachments or special features that could require further review.
