Rapid City council rescinds prior bill list and approves corrected bill list at special meeting

The Rapid City City Council on Jan. 8 held a special meeting to rescind a previously approved bill list and approve a corrected bill list after staff identified an itemization error.

Director Ainsley told the council staff had “included the bill list from the previous council meeting,” and asked the council to rescind the earlier approval and adopt a corrected bill list. Director Ainsley said the corrected list “totals 9,404,000, $185.35.”

The request was moved (as recorded in the meeting) by Robert and seconded by Maher; the mayor called for the aye and no opposing votes were voiced. The council therefore rescinded the prior bill list and approved the corrected bill list as presented. Later, Councilor Lehman moved to adjourn; the motion was seconded by Seacrest and the meeting was closed.
